1A, B and C Road Rollers

The Road Roller was made between 1953 and 1955. The earliest issues had a rounded edge to the front and rear ends of the roof canopy while the later issues had a straight edge to the canopy ends. This model can be found in a very rare light green or the more common dark green. The box that came with the model has a "MOKO" scripted in it and was only issued for the first seven models. It is believed that a rare variant in yellow green came out which is usually found in the Y-11 Road Roller.

The 1B Road Roller was available in light green and measure 56mm long and was in production between 1956 and 1958. The 1C Road Roller came out in light or dark green and was in production from 1958 to 1962. This was a bit longer than its predecessors.

The most common version is the 1D Road Roller which is made in dark green and was in production from 1962 to 1968. Unlike its predecessors, this model is the only with plastic rollers.
